Research development
Paulina and Anja met in 2022 while studying and supported each others’ artistry since
then. They work between Denmark and Germany which creates a long-distance
relationship with opportunities to meet and exchange. The residency would include a continuation of
finding their role as artists, and what is it like to be a collaborator for the other. Anja is working
within themes of social homelessness, city loneliness and collecting “a storytelling
kaleidoscope”; while Paulina seeks for ways of digesting and massaging their ongoing
process in relation to the idea of hauntology and its manifestations through artistic work.
They both performed “Blue” in Bauhaus (Dessau, Germany) in 2024 and they would like to
find more opportunities to share their work.
