Festival Youth Crew

Do you want to be co-create a theatre festival? So join the Festival Youth Crew! At our meetings, you can join other young people in shaping a festival – based on your own ideas and wishes. You can develop your own performances, select artists and programme items, run the technical side – lighting and music – come up with PR ideas, or plan cultural-political actions.
You don’t need experience – but the passion to be creative with others.

The Festival Youth Crew meets every other Thursday, 5–7 pm, starting January 2027. At the meetings, we explore different strategies and tools and work out together how a festival comes to life. We also draw inspiration from other cultural events. Participation is free, but places are limited.
First info meeting: 9 December, 5 pm, Best Western Hotel Foyer, Kastruplundgade 15
Age: You are between 15 and 28 years old
The festival takes place in August 2027 in Tårnby.

Inge, Delia and Andreas

Artists in residence in collaboration with Tårnby Municipality: In a two-year development project, Inge Agnete Tarpgaard, Delia Keller and Andreas Liebmann focus on young people’s view of culture in Tårnby: What cultural events or institutions do they want? What artistic dreams and ideas could emerge here? Together with the young people, the team develops sketches for a dreaming cultural future in Tårnby. The Festival Youth Crew is the place to be for local young people!
