about  Fremtidsklubben
The Fremtisklubben is our utopian theater club for non-professional theater enthusiasts. We create theater projects with participants between the ages of 4 and 99 and explore how different generations can interact with each other. Individual projects will also be directed exclusively at children or the elderly in the future. We also seek collaboration with schools and artistic institutions and are happy to offer workshops at schools or for specific groups.

about Birgitte Skands
Birgitte Skands is a Danish dance artist (with roots in many genres and dance traditions) who has worked in the field of dance and choreography for more than four decades. She trained at The Juilliard School in New York in the early 1980s, and her artistry reflects the vibrant, progressive art environment she was part of there.
After touring worldwide with companies such as Garth Fagan Dance Company and Dance Brazil, and working with choreographers like Kitt Johnson, Taneli Törmä, and Antoinette Helbing, Birgitte continues to explore and engage in hybrid, contemporary aesthetics, collective practices, research, and artistic encounters across generations.
In addition to choreographing and being an active part of the Copenhagen performing arts scene, Birgitte has worked with children and young people throughout Denmark for over 25 years. She has conducted numerous school residencies, artist-in-residence programs, outreach programs, and dance and participation workshops. She has been part of the artistic team working with and within “Fremtidsklubben” alongside Delia Keller and Andreas Liebman for the past three years.
